Katerina Aleskoska
General Manager International, Australian Hydrogen Council
Katerina is an experienced public servant and has worked across policy, industry development and investment attraction roles. Most recently, Katerina was Director of Investment Strategy at Breakthrough Victoria, and at Invest Victoria she was Acting Director for Asian Investment after a stint as the Market Lead for inbound investments from Japan and Korea and project manager for the Hydrogen Energy Supply Chain (HESC) pilot project.
In her current role as General Manager, International for the Australian Hydrogen Council, Katerina is focused on expanding the AHC's international network and relationships, with the intention of assisting AHC member companies to expand their reach and influence, as well as fostering the investment partnerships needed to build and scale the hydrogen and derivatives industries in Australia.
Katerina holds a B.Sc in Biochemistry and B.A (Hons) in Politics and Russian Studies from the University of Melbourne, including periods of study at both Lund University in Sweden and the Moscow State University (MGU) in Russia. She has also undertaken executive education in sustainability at the Melbourne Business School as well as commercialisation of new technologies at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam
