our team
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee shapes FACET’s overall strategy, meeting every quarter to review project funding, internal programmes, and the centre’s budget. Its decisions are informed by recommendations from the Advisory Council.
Advisory Council
The Advisory Council advises the FACET Steering Committee on matters of policy, research priorities, industry partnerships and other matters relevant to FACET's operations. It advises on priorities for innovation, research, education and training. Its membership includes French and Australian academic and industry experts and leaders, including from FACET partners Swinburne, UGA and CEA, as well as representatives from key Indo-Pacific entities.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is made up of representatives from FACET’s three founding academic members. It drives the centre’s activities, provides technical expertise, monitors progress with the Co-Directors, and approves key working documents, timelines, and priorities.
Co-Directors
FACET is led by a
Co-Directorship, which serves as the interface between the centre’s operational team and the governance entities and project groups which the Co-Directors are members of and support.
