Gordon Chakaodza is Co-Director of the Franco-Australian Indo-Pacific Centre for Energy Transition.

Gordon brings over 15 years of leadership experience to FACET, drawing on his role as Director of the Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2), where he has led a major clean-energy initiative spanning research, industry, and government. Prior to joining Swinburne, Gordon held senior roles in international trade with institutions such as Austrade, including serving as a Trade Commissioner. Together, these strengths position Gordon to guide FACET’s next phase of growth across its research and industry engagement in Australia, France, and the broader Indo-Pacific region.
